Well, May proved to be quite the kick-off for the summer - in fact, here in Palm Springs, we've seen 118 degrees already! Right after that, we had a tornado AND snow within 45 minutes of here - whacky! Here's what I captured about our weather here on film...

Isn't that beautiful? It's the sunny desert mountains meeting the stormy sky as the clouds passed over... Can you tell it's my secret dream to be a photographer? I love capturing energy visually in the moment.

As for the rest of the month, there's a ton of great stuff to report to you - I was honored to be a guest speaker for my friend and colleague, Andrea Williams, for her Women's Business Launch Success Telesummit along with more than a dozen other speakers. I know she's packaging this as an audio series, so check it out.

Several people also got to spend some early Saturday morning time with the "How To" Business Q and A Teleclass - we covered everything from the energy of marketing copy to the "right" mindset to being attractive to what we want, and I gotta say it was FUN for all who were there! (In fact, it was so much fun that it catapulted me into creating the Catalyst Club right after that - more on that in a minute!)

Lastly, I've been on a big push for my own personal evolution, and one of the ways I pull myself forward is by reading - four books in the last month! Every one of them was excellent, so in case you're looking for reading material, here you go:

I would say that each are deceptively simple in reading, and pack a message in what might feel like light reading. I'm so grateful that these people have shared their message with the world.

The question is.. how are YOU sharing your message with the world? It feels like the "quickening", where time is compressing so we get our learning opportunities faster, based on both my personal experience and in working with clients. Your Evolution is Calling - It's Your "Quickening"

Have you noticed lately that it seems like we are being called to speed up our evolution? That is, it seems to me that we are being asked to move more quickly to get our lessons so that we can get on with an even more profound shift in consciousness, which will uplevel our ability to contribute our gifts more richly, more comprehensively and more joyously.

Recently, I'm noticing that there are opportunities galore to wake up and step up in a big way. In case you don't know what that kind of opportunity looks like, here are a few examples: something goes a completely different direction than you'd planned and you have to figure out how to handle something you have no idea how to approach, someone upsets or aggravates you in a way that just won't "let go", or you have a thought pattern that continues to repeat (sometimes over years) that isn't serving you but takes up a lot of mindspace without feeling good about it.

Each of these qualifies as a learning / healing opportunity, because you are being asked to go beyond what you already know on a rational level to get a new experience. And sometimes that experience means going back to where you picked up the pattern of thought / feeling / behavior in the first place (which means you get to uncork that stuck place and experience it all over again to release it... but I digress).

If we haven't gotten our lessons, they will show up for us ever-so-patiently until we get through them. Hopefully, we learn them the first time but if not, we will get the opportunity again. My belief is that we are always creating that which we need to get to our next level, including those types of learning / healing opportunities. And it seems like those opportunities are coming faster as we are called to become more of who we are in the world.

3 Things You Can Do Today:

1. Look at your mirrors. That is, everything that is in your outer world is mirroring what's in your inner world - "as without is within". Consider your relationships, how you spend your time and energy, what you think about, the language you use, your environment...any place you experience something that is "off" or no longer reflects who you are is a learning / healing opportunity for your own personal "quickening".

2. Examine your internal world. Just as the outer world has mirrors for you, look within for stuck places, body clues, numerical threads (such as moving every two years) and habitual thought or behavioral patterns that no one else can see, but are clearly in the process of manifesting in your external world. Once you identify what's going on, you are now at a conscious choice to release or create it.

3. Do a ritual. Rituals are a big name for something really simple - essentially, it's sacred time set aside for something that matters. Everyone has early morning rituals, for example - from we get up to brush our teeth and start our day in the same way to our meditation practices. In this case, you can create and use a ritual, or sacred act with focused time, to release whatever is holding you back from your best and highest good. For example, you may want to write out whatever is not working for you on a piece of paper, then burn it to release that energy to the universe, while saying a prayer that anchors your intentions for the ritual. A note of caution: be careful for what you ask for, because you will get it!

Honor your own quickening process to pace the universe's guidance in helping you to express who you are more fully. Let your soul stand open for your "ecstatic experience", in the words of Emily Dickinson. After all, your evolution is the key not only to your own healing, but also to you making a bigger contribution for the benefit of the rest of us.
